Steeped in history, our enchanting venue sits amid 17 acres of private grounds, featuring Georgian architecture, a beautiful rose garden, lawns, a croquet pitch and so much more. Wherstead Park Mansion
Fondly referred to by the events team as our Downton, historically this house has played a role in entertaining and accommodating guests since 1792. Its sweeping staircase, marbled columns and domed roof have proved a home, office, venue for a huge array of people and our events team can’t wait to explore what the mansion could offer you.
The Grounds
Once designed by Humphrey Repton as a deer park to surround the main house, our grounds today now transform with limitless opportunities for wedding ceremonies, outdoor concerts, parties, cinemas, beer gardens, the list goes on!
