To commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee, Suffolk soprano, Christina Johnson performed alongside a live musical ensemble for a ‘Best of British’ Afternoon Proms concert to celebrate Her Majesty’s 70-year reign.
The concert included rousing classics such as Land of Hope and Glory, Abide with Me, Nimrod, God Save the Queen, Jerusalem, You’ll Never Walk Alone, and many more glorious songs from the Proms, the West End and classical and operatic hits.
Our fully licensed giant tipi bar and street food vendors served up delicious food and drink, whilst some guests enjoyed a quintessentially British picnic.
We also donated £180 from ticket sales to Children in Need.
