Summer is FINALLY here and you want to make the most of the Suffolk sunshine, but not quite sure where to start? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Slap on the sun cream as we're serving up everything from opera and theatre performances, parties in the park to family fun days. There’s bound to be something to tickle your fancy.
We kicked off our summer in style with an unforgettable Jubilee Proms weekend celebration, starring operatic star Christina Johnston, and that was just the beginning!
The grounds of our glorious mansion take centre stage, right through until the end of August, and you’re all invited!
First stop is Wimbledon in the Park celebrating the 135th iconic Tennis Championships on the 9th & 10th July We don’t do things by halves, and we’ll be showing all the live tennis finals action on the giant outdoor screen, with drinks a plenty and deluxe picnic’s available to pre-order too then non-stop right through till the end of the August bank holiday weekend.
With outdoor markets in both July & August you can shop till you drop, then drop then sit back, relax, and enjoy a well-earned drink and a bite to eat on the garden terrace.
July 28th/29th/30th we are going to the Movies!
Over three nights we're showing three classic ‘feel good’ movies, including Mamma Mia, Dirty Dancing and Grease to get you all singing and dancing under the stars. With live entertainment before the sun sets and the movie begins, these promise to be a movie experience like no other.
Looking for a family day out? August 6th we are hosting a family fun day, with classic family movies being shown on a giant outdoor screen to keep the little ones entertained while the grown-ups enjoy a drink from our licensed tipi bar.
Operatic star Christina Johnston will be returning to perform a full, daytime outdoor concert on the 20th of August, fresh from her tour dates with Russel Watson, it promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of music and song.
Then the grand finale of our Summer Extravaganza is Disco in the Park on 27th August. Expect incredible music from DJ Charlotte Moss playing all our favourite disco classics, Niche will be serving up summery cocktails and delicious food will be available from our street food vendors.
It’s going to be one heck of a party and we want you all to join us.
