As the sun sets on Summer 2023, the Wherstead Park team is wrapping things up in more ways than one.
As events move inside for the October conference season, we wanted to look back at a corker of a (albeit a bit wet!) Summer and a few of the highlights that we enjoyed in the Wherstead Park gardens.
We hosted 22 outdoor events – including a Family Fun Day and Summer Market, two theatre productions, ten corporate staff parties, two birthday parties, three movie nights, and two opera performances, all sandwiched between a right royal coronation celebration and a disco-filled bank holiday weekend.
With the lingering echoes of Donna Summer in the air, it’s only right that we tell you all about what’s still to come in the final few months before we close the doors to the public.
We’re polishing our disco balls and getting our mum’s flares out from the back of the wardrobe in preparation to welcome nearly 3000 of you lovely lot to celebrate Christmas with us across November and December.
Word has spread early this year, and we’ve sold out on nearly every night with record numbers (if we thought last year was busy, the team is in for a welcome surprise this year!).

We’ve got the Just Jay dance crew, aerial acrobats, and our resident DJ Charlotte Moss adding a bit of sparkle to the nights, and the team on hand to keep the drinks flowing!
If a bit of pre-Christmas shopping is more your cup of mulled wine, we’re holding our 15th and final Christmas Shopping Event on the weekend of the 3rd-5th of November. We’ll be welcoming over 75 stall holders, selling everything you could need to tick off your Christmas list nice and early this year. Those of you who have been before will remember the food quarter, Mansion, and Atrium filled with incredible festive goodies. Once again, we’ll be raising money for our friends at Suffolk MIND, with a generous portion of ticket proceeds going directly to support the amazing work that they do to help the Suffolk community.
